Fishing in general can provide a myriad of different opportunities, which allows the angler to refine their choices according to their taste. This is the beauty of our sport – it is not a ‘one size fits all’ and, therefore, neither are the packages we offer and provide. We are here to cater to your needs and provide you with a package that suits you. Add and remove elements as it suits, ranging from guiding, accommodation and the fishing options in general. You may explore length of stays ranging from day experiences through to week-long-stays or longer. You may even choose to have non-fishing days incorporated into an extended stay, which can also be catered for with pleasure.

We have a wealth of wild brown trout and grayling fishing in Wales. We are also fortunate to have a myriad of different rivers on offer on which to target them; usually being able to offer some form of fishing no matter how bad the weather gets. Whether you are looking to fish a small stream, or a larger main river we have it on offer at Fishing-Wales. In general, for brown trout we offer guiding on revered rivers such as the Usk, Teifi, and Wye and also on lesser known, but certainly not inferior rivers, such as the Taff, Ebbw, Irfon, and more.

For grayling we cover the Wye, Irfon, Taff, and more. It is possible to combine multiple rivers during your stay or focus on one in particular. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

We have a dedicated guide team for each river / area, ready to help you maximise your stay and experience. They really can mean the difference between success and failure.

Again, all of our packages and holidays are tailored to your individual needs. However, the following will give you an insight and a guideline of what to expect cost wise:

EXAMPLE – three days fishing with a different river or beat each day; two anglers staying in a shared (twin) room on a bed and breakfast basis for four nights, three days fishing access / permits, one day guided with one guide between two anglers.

TOTAL COST = £1,000 (£500 each) you may then add additional guided days, for example, for £320 (£160 each) per day.

If you would prefer to be guided by Steffan Jones, then the cost would be £1,220 or £610 each. Additional guided days by Steffan can be added for £540 (£270 each).

These costs do not include meals (other than the breakfast at the accommodation when noted), government fishing licence or tips. Lunch can be added on guided days for an additional cost – please give sufficient warning and also highlight any allergies. If in doubt about inclusions / exclusions, please contact us.
